Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Needly (“we”) intends to handle information on this pre-launch website and the marketplace we are building. It is not a certification of compliance with any particular law or framework.

Information we collect

• Account information, such as name, email, and role (customer or business).
• Request information you choose to describe, including follow-up answers and photos you attach.
• Uploaded media stored for a request.
• Approximate service location such as city, ZIP, and general area. Exact street address is stored for matching and service, not shown to businesses before you choose.
• Business information such as name, services, and service area.
• Communications you send through contact, waitlist, and application forms.
• Basic analytics events about how the site is used. We do not sell advertising profiles. Analytics do not include message bodies, exact addresses, phone numbers, or emails.
• Verification documents you upload. Those files are stored privately and are not public.

Contact sharing

Businesses that receive a request do not automatically get your email, phone number, or exact street address. Direct contact can be shared after you deliberately choose a business. Until then, businesses see general area, ZIP when appropriate, request details, and photos you authorize for the request.

Service providers

We use infrastructure providers such as hosting, database/auth, email, and (when enabled) privacy-respecting analytics. They process data only to run Needly.

Security and retention

We use standard technical safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, server-side authorization). No method of transmission is perfectly secure. We keep waitlist and application records as needed to operate the pilot.

Your choices

Signed-in customers and business owners can request a personal-data export or account deletion from Settings. Deletion anonymizes profile data. Billing history, fraud-prevention records, and completed marketplace audit history may be retained. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED before treating this page as an attorney-approved privacy policy.

Pilot marketplace

Needly is currently launching in the San Antonio area. Matching and contact release operate only for participating businesses. We do not claim nationwide coverage.
